started to go through my tumblr and realized I can’t now, because I haven’t watched the new Doctor Who yet because we went and saw Iron Man 3 last night in IMAX 3D.
After the tons of previews and about 20 minutes of the movie, it looked like lights surrounding the screen blew out and the screen went black, but the sound continued. Obviously, the entire theater was PISSED. So they explain it’s a power surge, and when they “fix” it, they start where the audio stopped, so we missed about 3-4 minutes of the movie during which we could hear the sound. After about 10 minutes of that, they decide to stop the movie and start back at the beginning of the previews. I’m sorry, I would think it would be easy to simply start back where the screen went out or AT WORST, at the beginning of the movie.
Needless to say, we all got to sit through 15 minutes of previews a SECOND TIME and watch the first 20 minutes of the movie we already saw again.
Fantastic movie. Though I wish they would’ve given us like… a free popcorn voucher or $5 off our next visit or SOMETHING.
