Today is National Read a Book Day!

I mentioned this to my boss yesterday, to which he responded, “You read a book every day.” Which is true. But today, there’s a reason! I finished Dreamland by Sarah Dessen yesterday and today I’m reading both Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen and also, the 5th book in Michael Grant’s Gone series, Fear.

Not sure if any of you might be interested, but I’m trying to sell my Nook Color (bought for $150). I’m including an anti-glare screen protector ($20), a custom colored decalgirl skin (think I paid around $25), 2 pink leather cases (1 from b&n that I paid $35 for, and then 1 from M-Edge I paid $40 for), a leather charm ($10), the original box, and of course, the charger.

I’m only asking $120. It works perfectly, I just really need money for bills. If you’re interested, please message with your email. I’m planning on selling through PayPal (in case you’re worried about sending money, you can dispute the charge with them if you don’t receive, which I would NEVER do, but it’s nice to be reassured).

Surprise, surprise.

Yes, it’s sad that she died. But it’s kind of sickening that the same magazines who cover her drug use & weight gains/losses are the same magazines doing “tribute” issues (not necessarily People or EW, but the tabloids).

"The kind of character I hate," says Bridesmaids director Paul Feig, "is when it’s ‘Look at this crazy character who’s so dumb and let’s just laugh at this person.’ Melissa never lost the humanity of Megan and played her as someone unabashedly proud of who she is."

Entertainment Weekly February 3rd, 2012 | Melissa McCarthy, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal as Megan in Bridesmaids
