Just finished this for the second time and caught some things I missed the first time through. I love when books do that.

“BOOK IT! motivates children to read by rewarding their reading accomplishments with praise, recognition and pizza. The program is simple for the teacher to use, flexible because goals match reading ability, and fun because achieving a goal is a great reason to celebrate! BOOK IT! was created in 1985 and currently reaches over 14 million students in 38,000 elementary classrooms annually.”
Pretty sure this is at least 75% of the reason I became a bookworm from a very young age.

Merry Christmas book nerds everywhere!
I SEE SO MANY GOOD ONES AKSJDHAKLDHAKSDHALK
this is perfect
there really are SO MANY good ones!
Look what came for me today! Unfortunately, no Noah Shaw bookplate for this girl. :(
Still signed and awesome though!

So I know I’ve rec’d this book before, but I’m going to do it again. The story is really pretty sad, to be honest. It’s about a brother and sister who have had to raise their younger siblings together because their mother is a raging alcoholic. The brother and sister have always been united in raising the kids, and fall in love.
These poor kids are really messed up, but reading the story, you really start to root for them.
There is a HUGE twist ending. I don’t think I’ve ever gone from really happy to absolutely crushed in the span of 2 sentences so quickly.
Go read it. Now.

Wanna know what’s really creepy? Reading a supernatural book in which the character experiences both blackouts and delusions, then seeing my own name staring at me in the case notes from the last chapter with a huge twist in it.

That’s it, Andrew Garfield is Noah Shaw.
I both hate and love the beginning of book series obsessions.
