Just finished this for the second time and caught some things I missed the first time through. I love when books do that.

Pretty sure this is at least 75% of the reason I became a bookworm from a very young age.

So I know I’ve rec’d this book before, but I’m going to do it again. The story is really pretty sad, to be honest. It’s about a brother and sister who have had to raise their younger siblings together because their mother is a raging alcoholic. The brother and sister have always been united in raising the kids, and fall in love.

These poor kids are really messed up, but reading the story, you really start to root for them.

There is a HUGE twist ending. I don’t think I’ve ever gone from really happy to absolutely crushed in the span of 2 sentences so quickly.

Go read it. Now.

I have so much book hangover after reading both of these this week. 

Wanna know what’s really creepy? Reading a supernatural book in which the character experiences both blackouts and delusions, then seeing my own name staring at me in the case notes from the last chapter with a huge twist in it.
